Directed by Phil Rouse
Don't Look Away's inaugural production follows Bentley: a man who puts too much trust in consumerist society and is eventually consumed himself. Rooted is a darkly comic satire on status anxiety, exploring the human capacity for cruelty as a means to increase ones standing in society. Don't Look Away is a talented company of theatre makers, passionate about reviving and re-invigorating lost Australian plays.
