BUZO TRAINING

NAVIGATING DIVERSITY IN THE WORKPLACE

An innovative corporate training program devised by Laurence Coy for The Alex Buzo Company

Do age, gender, race, religion, cultural choice or even sporting affiliation affect the productivity of your workplace and business? Teamwork, communication, performance management and retention are all enhanced when diversity and tolerance are paramount considerations. Bullying, favouritism, siloing and factionalism flourish when they are not.

This half day program consists of a performance of Alex Buzo’s classic Australian play,
Norm and Ahmed, followed by a facilitated workshop designed to shed light on consideration of ‘the other’ however that may manifest itself. After the workshop, participants will have an increased awareness of their default positions as well as a deep understanding of the difference between fact and point of view and an awareness of the consequences of confusing these two. Most importantly, they will have a methodology to guide themselves through the tolerance minefield - ensuring balance, focus and productivity in future interactions.

The core program is presented by Laurence Coy (left) and Craig Meneaud (middle) with an additional program involving Emma Buzo (right). To make an enquiry, please contact Emma Buzo, Director of The Alex Buzo Company. Read about our team here.
